Home Rise Community Foundation operates in full compliance with federal and Illinois nonprofit law and publishes the governance and financial information our donors and partners need.
Home Rise Community Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. The Foundation files Form 990 annually with the IRS and makes its three most recent Form 990 filings available for public inspection.
The Foundation is incorporated under the Illinois General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986 (805 ILCS 105/) and is in good standing with the Illinois Secretary of State. We are registered with the Illinois Attorney General's Charitable Trust and Solicitations Bureau pursuant to the Illinois Charitable Trust Act and the Illinois Solicitation for Charity Act, and we file the annual Form AG-990-IL.
